The location to search is specified by the pull-down lists: Country, State, County and City. The lists are related, for instance changing the state changes the list of available counties and cities.

If you do not now the county a particular city is in, Select "any" for the county and all cities for the state will be listed.

To narrow down the search, select the particular cusine that you desire. Only the restaurants that match your specified cusine will be listed. (If you don't select any of the cusines, the search will include all cusines.) Only the cusines available in your specified location will be displayed.

You may search for a restaurant that serves a particular entree by entering words in the search box. Only restaurants that have an entree containing the search word(s) in the entree's name or description will displayed.

Some restaurants only have their location information entered and do not have their menu in our database. These restaurants will not be included in searches.

You may search for a particular entree by entering words in the search box. Only entree containing the search word(s) in its name or description will displayed.

You may specify as multiple search words if desired. (Separate the words by either commas or spaces.) The search will only return items that contain all of the words. For example, if you specified "chicken, pork" as search words, only the items that contain both "chicken" and "pork" will be returned.

Our searching algorithm accounts for plurals and words of similar meaning. For example, if your specified "mushrooms", not only would entries that conatian "mushrooms" be returned, but also "mushroom". Likewise, if you entered "hoagy", entrees that contain "sub", "submarine", etc. would also be returned.

Most restaurants have their entrees divided into categories such as "Chicken", "Pork", "Past", etc. The available categories for the particular restaurant's menu will be listed in the pull-down list. Select the desired category to see the entrees for that category. Also, an entree may be listed in more than one category. For example, an entree may be in the "Beef" category and also in a "Hot & Spicy" category.

Although there are a number of fields to fill in when uploading a menu, it isn't really all that bad. You need tell us the name of your restaurant, its address, phone numbers, and hours of operation. If you have a web site, give us its URL and we will include it on the page when your restaturant is displayed.

We also need to know who to contact - name, address, phone, etc., and their position or title with relationship to the restaurant. There also is a box to enter nay special instructions that you need to tell us.
